Celine Han, Embroidery. Craft: embroidery hoop and thread, 2018.

I'm a graphic designer, illustrator and dreamer focusing on graphic design and illustrations/image making. I use drawing, visual communication and typography as a way of exploring crafts and materiality. My practice is situated between graphic and communication design in order to explore the connection between images and language. My project I. ME. MINE. is an installation that focuses on materiality and image-making. Through my practice, my aim is to expand the idea of illustration and handcraft, and to express myself by defining how I “exist”. Being here to exist, experience and live. Doing what I like, liking what I do. Noticing the details. I am who I am. I like what I like. I love who I love. I do what I want. I care for the details that others may not really bother about. That’s the way I see things in life and that may not be the way you see it. But that’s okay, cause that’s my life.
