Eris Li, Fifteenth Wine. Branding Strategy, Label + Packaging design, 2018. first edition of second series

I’m a multi-disciplinary designer working with branding and editorial design. I use visual communication as an analytical tool for exploring intercultural communication. My practice sits at the intersection of publication and communication design in order to explore issues of culture in society. My project Art Series II is a series of wine label designs for a winery. The brand was inspired by the full moon. According to the Chinese calendar, on the 15th of every month the moon will become full. With the full moon symbolizing family reunion in Chinese tradition, I hope that when people see the full moon, they are reminded of the brand. Each wine label design uses a different traditional Chinese print. My practice also involves mixing digital and print design, including UX UI, publication and packaging design.
