I am a graphic designer and illustrator aiming to make a sustainable difference in society. I have a passion for bringing people's visions to reality and for sharing my love of all things creative. My sometimes quirky illustrations always attempt to put an instant smile on someone's face and depict the simplest moments in day-to-day life. My project 'You are not your body' explored the beauty standards and social stereotypes that promote the unhealthy and unattainable female body ideals. This project aimed to reframe body image and enable females to discover and celebrate their real identities. The magazines provide the audience with an intimate insight into women's everyday struggles with their bodies and their illusion of perfection which sometimes leads to depression and eating disorders. In this project, I have expanded my practice through photography to explore body image as I capture truths that everyone forgets too soon.
