I’m a Melbourne-based visual artist, working in photography and design. My work consists in the arrangement of symbology through staged scenes in an effort to collide the real with the imagined, exploring issues of morality and the every day, often in an act of self reflection. I am fascinated by beauty and enjoy creating a synthetic and vibrant world for my stories to inhabit. ‘Tell Him I Am Faint With Love’, is a visual story that explores one’s awakening desires of faith, love and lust and the combustion of all three. Through the use of colour and every day objects, the series is reflective of my faith journey, questioning both my desires and morals. The scenes portray how these prominent human emotions are an intricate part of our spiritual being.
