I’m a graphic designer focusing on publication design. I use visual communication as an analytical tool for exploring materiality and publication design after the internet. My practice sits at the intersection of publication and communication design in order to respond to the postdigital world. My project ‘Black and White’ focuses on the essence of color and its connection to objects and notions, using internet. All the photographs and texts are collected from google images and wikipedia. As the contents of this encyclopedia begin small and become big, the words related to each colour expand. Finally, black ink on black paper and white ink on white paper suggest a materiality of colour.
