My practice in design is structured around justification and reasoning. Obsessed with creating meaning in a design, to express the story or purpose through the layout and format. I interact with design with excessive use of typography, exploring how type can become the focus of a design, and become the artwork itself. Typography contributes heavily, structuring a design with hierarchy and direction, without overwhelming the existing artwork. Experimenting with how type can enhance and impact a design, through its layout and positioning, seeking the best arrangement to achieve the most effective outcome.
