Tori Van Embden (Communication Design Graduate) I’m an illustrator and graphic designer with a focus on hand drawn illustrations that are symbolic and detailed. This is my gradshow project titled “imperfect journey.” This piece explores my transformation over 5 years through the symbolism of my shoes. They illustrate the beauty of imperfection. Working by hand allows me to emotionally connect with my subject matter.
