Handle with Care

Nella Wong is a designer exploring books as objects, and experiments with materiality in order to question the future of printed books. She believes that the form of books are more than just vessels for content and information. Her project, Skin, is a video installation projected onto a hand made skin-like material (made with water, glycerine and gelatine substitute). That “shed skin” symbolises the culture of printed books that still remain despite the result of technology advancement.
