I am a narrative-driven, illustrative designer who specialises in exploring human experiences through a surreal lens. My practice utilises animation, sculpture and image-making to depict empathetic characters within bizarre stories. By combining supernatural or futuristic themes with current issues, I aim to recontextualise them in a way that either provides commentary or elicits a strong emotional response.
"Am I?" evolves my practice from a screen into physical space for the first time. It speculates on how a large collection of data could spawn a consciousness of its own, and primarily aims to elicit empathy and intrigue by journeying through a non-conventional narrative.
